Administrative Assistant Zewail City 6th of October, Giza

  • Creating Purchase Requests and associated memos
  • Handling the chemicals and supplies orders
  • Communicating with different Zewail City departments and other external parties to facilitate
    the center’s work
  • Responding to general inquiries directed to the center
  • Contacting vendors to enquire about chemicals and equipment availability and prices
  • Following up with Vendors and chasing ordered items
  • Ensure Smooth Operations flow: by calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories. Ex:
    Computers or equipment failure.
  • Managing inventory of assets and supplies, sourcing for suppliers (vendors) and submitting
    invoices.
  • Following up the research grants’ budgets and paper work (related contracts, requests, etc.)
  • Coordinating between departments and operating units in resolving day-to-day administrative
    and operational problems.
  • Attending the required meetings and taking meeting minutes
  •  Preparing travel paperwork for researchers going for conferences and research visits
  • Translating non-scientific documents from Arabic to English and vice versa.
  • Helping the members of the center in different logistics.
  • This is an administrative job. The employee will not be implementing any research activities


متطلبات الوظيفة
  •  Bachelor of Science or related experience as an admin in a research environment is a MUST
  • English and Arabic Proficiency spoken and written.
  • Excellent computer skills, Microsoft office proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience.
  •  The employee should be open to learning new skills and should be flexible to adapt to
    performing new tasks
  •  Time management skills
  • Ability to produce high-quality work
