In software testing, verification and validation are the processes to check whether a software system meets the specifications and that it fulfills its intended purpose or not. Verification and validation is also known as V & V. It may also be referred to as software quality control.What is difference between verification and validation?
Verification is testing that your product meets the specifications / requirements you have written. "Did I build what I said I would?". Validation tests how well you addressed the business needs that caused you to write those requirements. It is also sometimes called acceptance or business testing.
