روبرت هو مصمم عمل دائمًا مع ثلاثة عناصر, الناس, الاشياء , الاماكن . طوال حياته المهنية ، استخدم "اللعب" كوسيلة للتصميم باستخدام هذه العناصر. سيتحدث روبرت عن الابتكار باستخدام "اللعب" في مدننا كممارس ومنسق إبداعي على مدار العشرين عامًا الماضية.

نبذة عن المتحدث:
Robert is Ithra's Creative Director for the Idea Lab component of the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) and curator of 'Tanween' - Ithra's Creativity Festival. Robert works to help people challenge and develop their creativity to realize impactful outcomes, meaningful solutions, and fantastic ideas. Robert has 20 years of experience working on creative projects in culture, heritage, education, and health. Trained at the Royal College of Art he holds a MA Design Products specializing in interactive spaces and BA Hons from the Manchester School of Art specializing in ceramics. Robert is the founding director of Superblue, an experimental design lab to test new community interactions with public space. Working across the cultural sector, Robert has held both creative and academic roles. With design roles at Christie's auction house, The British Museum and museum design consultancies Ralph Appelbaum Associates and Atelier Brueckner. Academically, Robert was Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer at The Arts University College Bournemouth.

We will be hosting the Creative Director of Ithra - The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture in design talk about Designing Play with the City
Robert is a designer who has always worked with three elements People, Object, Place. Through his career, he has used ‘play’ as a way to design with these elements. Robert will talk about creating with ‘play’ in our cities as a creative practitioner and curator over the past twenty years.
