Node.js Developer Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing and maintaining server-side application components.
• Ensuring optimal performance of the central application database system and responsiveness to front-end requests.
• Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of various system elements.
• Designing back-end services for web and mobile related business processes.
• Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code, using latest frameworks and best practices.
• Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
• Collaboration with other back-end developers and product owner(s) on product tasks, bugs and issues via Github repositories.
• Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support for existing application components.
• Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
• Keeping on-top of advancements in the field of Node.js development and related technologies.

Node.js Developer Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or similar degree.
• At least three years' experience as a Node.js developer.
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
• Experience writing Node.js libraries/apps in Typescript.
• Aware of Node.js call-back hell and how to properly avoid it by implementing highly scalable and readable code.
• Fluency using Git repositories for revision control and GitHub for Issue tracking.
• Experience working in an Agile environment is a must.
• Experience writing UnitTests for all deliverables is a Must.
• Knowledge of REST services is a must, gRPC is a big plus.
• Experience with Redis and MongoDB is a plus.
• Good knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
• Interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Passion to learn new technologies and tools and use them in day-to-day tasks.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
• Great organizational and priority management skills.
• Availability to resolve urgent web application issues outside of business hours.
