About the Role

We're looking for a remote Video Editor to own our creative video output and help bring the FutureMoney brand to life across social media and beyond. You'll work closely with our content and marketing team to produce high-quality, scroll-stopping content that resonates with our audience of parents and families across the United States.

This is a high-ownership role. You'll bring your own creative perspective while staying aligned with brand standards, move fast, and produce content that makes an impact. You're joining at an exciting inflection point as we execute aggressive growth plans through 2026 and beyond.

Our ideal candidate brings 3 to 5 years of experience in video production and editing. You have a sharp eye for what performs on social media, a strong grasp of current editing trends, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setup. You combine technical skill with genuine creativity and thrive in a fast-paced environment where your work is seen and felt immediately.

You'll be doing things like:

• Editing short-form and long-form video content across social media, UGC, podcasts, and lifestyle formats

• Handling color grading, motion graphics, and graphic design for video assets

• Creating static social media visuals using Canva and Figma to support the creative team

• Collaborating closely with the content and marketing team and incorporating feedback with a team-player mindset

• Bringing creative, experimental ideas while staying aligned with brand standards and audience expectations

• Staying current on social media editing trends and proactively suggesting new formats and approaches

Position Details

• Working Hours: Fixed at 7 AM to 3 PM ET, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility for urgent deadlines. Our team is committed to getting the job done together.

• Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week), exclusivity preferred

• Level: Intermediate (3 to 5 years of relevant experience)

• Compensation: USD 800/month, structured as a Consultant Agreement (independent contractor), meaning you'll be responsible for your own taxes, benefits, and insurance.
